Kids think their moms can do just about anything, but as this book wryly points out, there are some things a mom just can't manage. For example: a mom can't keep a salamander in her shirt. And, apparently: "Sometimes moms can't hear themselves think (whatever that means)." Written by Douglas Wood and illustrated by Doug Cushman, it's a charming story appropriate for ages 3 through 8.
